Calving.

Some new bulls got delivered. They were checking out the cows across the road when I snapped this pic.
Already time to start spring vaccinations.
Papa and Lucas keep them little doggies rollin mom and dad are waiting. (up in the right hand of pic)
Look at all that green grass in the background. Greg mowed the yard I think that is a first time we have mowed in April. He got the mower out and tuned up for the season, then I think he got carried away mowing. It's my job but he's welcome to it:) I'm sure it won't happen again anytime to soon. The yard looks nice.
Baby calves are so sweet looking. We had 2 sets of twins in the last week or so, all doing good. One from each set has a new adopted mom.
time to make some supper.............JMF

Green grass? What's that?! :) I've never been around a calf table - love hearing how our lives are the same and different at the same time. It's always fun when the whole family pitches in, although it does cut into our sewing time. :)

Hi, loved the calves. We farm in Wales so it's always good to see how others do it. When we vaccinate we just catch the calves in the corner of the pen or in a cattle crush when they are bigger!
Hugs. Joan
